Your order details stay out of AliEstimate

AliEstimate needs a tracking update and its time to calculate a delivery date. The site and extension do not need your name, address, order ID or tracking number.

01

Data used for estimates

When you use the form, AliEstimate receives the tracking status and timestamp you paste. The API records the event, the estimate, its delivery window, the sample size and a random prediction ID. These records help us check the estimator and compare algorithm versions.

If a recorded prediction later receives a confirmed delivery time, AliEstimate stores the difference between the estimate and delivery. The outcome request uses the random prediction ID. It does not need an order ID.

02

Data from the extension

The extension asks for your consent before it reads an order or requests an estimate. It sends the latest public tracking status and timestamp to the estimate API. When you enable completed-order accuracy, it can send a confirmed delivery timestamp with prediction IDs saved from earlier estimates.

Chrome keeps the AliExpress order ID, cached estimates and completed comparisons in extension storage on your device. The extension uses the order ID to put the right result beside the right order. It does not include that ID or the tracking number in estimate and outcome requests.

03

Site measurement

AliEstimate records the page or API route, response status, processing time, broad client type and referring hostname. Browsers can also send navigation time, page-ready time and time to first byte. We use these measurements to find errors and slow pages.

The analytics database uses a one-way hash made from the network address and browser signature to estimate visitors. It does not store the raw network address or full browser signature. Bot checks compare network addresses with cached official crawler ranges before analytics are recorded.

04

Cookies, storage and retention

The homepage uses a session cookie to protect the estimate form against forged submissions. AliEstimate does not use advertising cookies.

The analytics maintenance job removes detailed request, performance and visitor-day records after 90 days. It keeps daily aggregate counters for longer-term operations reporting. Prediction and outcome records stay in the model ledger so we can compare estimator versions. They contain tracking event text and times, but no order ID or tracking number.

Chrome manages extension storage on your device. Removing the extension clears its storage through the browser.

05

Other services

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. The statistics page loads Chart.js from jsDelivr when a chart approaches the screen. Those providers receive the standard connection information needed to serve a file, such as your network address and browser headers.

Links to AliExpress and carrier websites take you to services with their own privacy terms. AliEstimate operates independently from those companies.

06

Your choices

You can use the homepage estimate without giving AliEstimate an order ID or tracking number. The extension lets you withdraw consent, stop order-page scanning and clear its saved data. You can also remove the extension and its local data through Chrome.

We will update this page when data collection or retention changes. Last updated 14 August 2026.
